Azerbaijan is promoting its tourism opportunities at the Eastern Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition (EMITT 2025), which has commenced in Istanbul, Türkiye.

At the national stand, 10 local tourism industry representatives along with Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) are presenting the country’s diverse tourism offerings.

Visitors are provided with detailed information about Azerbaijan’s tourism potential, including gastronomic tourism, winemaking, winter tourism, ski resorts, and UNESCO-listed cultural heritage sites.

Additionally, B2B meetings are being held with representatives from Türkiye and other countries to explore collaboration opportunities in the tourism sector.

As one of the five largest tourism exhibitions in the world, EMITT 2025 hosts participants from 95 countries, offering a key platform for global tourism promotion and networking.

Notably, Türkiye ranked as the second-largest source of international visitors to Azerbaijan in 2024. Over the past year, 426,241 Turkish citizens traveled to Azerbaijan, marking a 13% increase compared to 2023.
